Decided to do a Smithing guide beings as I get asked how to do it a lot in game.
*Note- It takes the amount of ore to get to 99 smithing as it takes to get to 94 mining.
I suggest getting all the ore before hand as it's easier just to have to go to Falador once.
1)Teleport yourself to ::skills and buy a pickaxe
2)Get all of the ore you're going to need.
3)Teleport ::home and buy a hammer from Herquin.
4)From home, just run to Falador. When you get there the furnace should be straight ahead of you to the right.
5)Simply click on the ore you want to smelt, then use it on the furnace and voila you have a bar!
6)Now you're probably wondering what the hammer's for!(If not then... Well you're too smart!)Once you have your bar, walk to the anvil which should be a couple of steps away
and use the bar on the anvil! (It gives you a small amount of coins, I just dropped all of mine.) But it also gives you extra smithing exp! So be sure to do it!
Coal is NOT needed to smith any bars.
This is how I did it:
Bronze Bars - 1-15
Iron Bars 15-60
Mithril Bars 60-70
Adamantite Bars 70-85
Rune Bars 85-99
